WEBSITE COPYWRITING & DESIGN
Sample 1: While I wasn’t involved in the full website design, I was asked to update and maintain our workshops page in WordPress. What was once an overwhelming wall of text is now a thoughtfully designed layout featuring visuals that align with our workshop branding. Drawing on my ability to distill key messages, I transformed lengthy descriptions into bite-sized, scannable copy.

Sample 2: I led our shift from Eventbrite and email-based workshop communication to the Teachable LMS. Here's a sample workshop page I designed and wrote, featuring clear, visually supported longer-form content.
PRESENTATIONS
I design presentations that enhance facilitated experiences and keep groups connected to each other and the learning (rather than getting lost in a complicated slide).
Sample 1: Powerpoint excerpt from a core BELONG Partners program for external audiences that showcases concise, engaging, and on-brand design.
Sample 2: After spearheading our transition to Teachable, I created this Canva Presentation to bring my colleagues up to speed. Showcasing internal tone and keeping things simple, engaging, and on-brand.
REPORTS
As a Graphic Designer at BELONG Partners, I help turn complex, text-heavy documents into visuals that are easier to understand. Here’s a 2-page infographic I created from a 9-page report. By highlighting the key points in a clear and engaging way, it helped our board and staff have meaningful conversations about our impact, challenges, and future goals.

SOCIAL MEDIA COPYWRITING & DESIGN
In my free time, I love working on creative passion projects that bring people together. For the past four years, I’ve hosted a handmade greeting card swap. What started in 2020 with 20 friends has grown into a global exchange with over 60 participants across 15+ states and 4 countries!

Here’s how it works:
-You make 10 blank greeting cards inspired by the theme, “Light & Dark” (or just go off on some other creative journey of choice)
-Send Reid (me!) your cards by Halloween (which casually happens to be my birthday)
-Then some attractive elves mix ‘em all up and send you 10 unique cards back that you can use throughout the year whenever a need for giving a card arises.
No need to consider yourself a “creative”. All creativity is is thinking something up and making it happen. My hunch is you’re already doing that all the time!

VIDEO EDITING
My copywriting is rooted in 20 years of experience as a video editor. This video—one of my favorites—was created for Partners for Youth Empowerment, an organization I also facilitate with. I conducted over 10 interviews and distilled more than four hours of footage into a powerful 2.5-minute piece focused on a core message for marketing and fundraising.
